- Ensuring the Quality Policy and Objectives and procedures is implemented effectively throughout the laboratory and comply with MS ISO/IEC 17025
- To carry out routine testing activities which assigned by the Chemist accordance to approved test methods/procedures
- Record and maintain the test data/result in the worksheet/log book which will be verified by Chemist
- To prepare the Test Report which will be verified and certified by Approval Signatories
- To carry out internal calibration or verification and maintenance for instrument/equipment under supervision
- Reagent preparation and standardization
- To conduct quality control activities and data analysis (QC Control Chart) and keeping up the standard of the test result
- Report to Chemist or Laboratory Manager on any influences that might adversely affect their judgement or the result of the work
- To protect the customer confidential information and proprietary rights
- The Laboratory Technician is not allowed to communicate with the customers pertaining to test result
- Dispose sample after retention period
- Maintaining good housekeeping in laboratory areas
- Additional job assigned by Chemist or Laboratory Manager from time to time

Required Qualifications / Experience |

- Minimum SPM or higher qualification in science related field experience in laboratory testing and instrumentation
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and able to interact with people at all levels
- Computer literate
